Ok, so I'm way behind on finishing up these Disney posts, but they will get done!
So Epcot. We didn't spend a ton of time here. The kids were all about Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios.
Soarin
This is my son's favorite ride. I think we did it about 5 or 6 times this trip. If you go on this ride anytime then try (if you can) to go to the one on the right. That one appears to have the better quality film right now. The one on the left has a LOT of wear and tear in the film. Its pretty noticeable and distracting. On the right has a few here and there, but nothing as bad as the one on the left. I'm amazed at how quickly this film has deteriorated, why isn't it digital!
That being said this ride is awesome. The scents, the feeling you get in the pit of your stomach, Patrick Warburton, what else could you ask for? We were lucky enough to get center seats in the center section a couple of times this trip which makes it that much better.
Turtle Talk With Crush
I love this ride, my wife loves this ride, and our kids love this ride. Its just really well done. Sure the jokes are recycled from show to show, but to me its like the Jungle Cruise. You come to revel in the corniness. On top of all this my son got to ask Crush a question on this trip! How fast can you swim! It was awesome. He was so happy, and proud of himself that he got to ask Crush a question. On top of all that it was his first time sitting down in front where you can ask him a question. It was just an awesome day!
That's about it for rides in Epcot this trip. We did those two. My parents jumped onto Test Track, but we didn't make it on that ride this trip. We hit the other two rides so many times. I like Ellen's Energy Adventure. Its fun, but the kids get spooked by the Dinosaurs so we skip it. I'm the only only one that likes Mission Space, and nothing else really grabs our attention (ok, Spaceship Earth does for me, but it kills me to stand in line for that ride when I know there will be no ride later in the day, then I end up forgetting to go on it)
The fireworks were great, we stood over on the pier section of Italy for the first time for the fireworks. We had a good view. This is one of the best finale's of all the fireworks in the parks.
