Boston Bruins play San Jose Tonight - The Wrapup

By Arthur Correa • Author

Okay, so the B's lost last night.  My prediction was that they would win 5 - 3, and going into the third period with the B's leading 2 - 1 I felt pretty good about that.

Then, well everything just fell apart.  In the span of 5 or 6 minutes the Sharks rattled off some goals and before you knew it, the score was 5 -2 in favor of the Sharks (hey at least I got the winning teams goal total right).

How did Joe Thornton do?  Well, personally I think I was dead on with him.  He had a quiet night and didn't do much.

Whats that?  Yes I know according to the box score he had a goal, but come on it was a fluke goal.  A pass in front of the net by Setoguchi happened to bounce of Thornton's foot into the net.  The pass wasn't even to Thornton, Setoguchi was trying to pass it by THornton to another Sharks player.  Thornton just happened to get in the way by accident and happened to get a goal.

Then again, as the saying goes. Sometimes its better to be lucky than good.
