So I start my blogging, all excited about writing about the Bruins, and as soon as I start to get into it the B's aren't doing so well.
So they only have a single win in their last six games if I'm not mistaken (1 - 3 - 2). Their power play hasn't been effective in that span, the one game that it was effective was in their win against the Hurricanes.
Now they were getting some offensive chances, they outshot the Panthers 41 - 29. Is it that they're getting too cute? Are their injuries starting to catch up with them? Are they hitting a wall?
My opinion? They're hitting a wall. A lot of people say its the injuries, but they've been getting people back over the last few weeks and they're still having problems.
They're a young team, that has done great this year. Maybe they're just starting to get run down and don't quite have the experience to fight through this bump in the road. I'm actually hoping it is this, because the approach of the playoffs should jazz up the team and give them a new spark of energy that will hopefully carry them through deep into the playoffs.
