Over the years, I've worked at several companies, and I've seen many different ways to run offsites. At their best, they really do a great job of aligning on a vision for the future and improving trust and collaboration. At their worst, they kill momentum, reduce psychological safety, and lower engagement among your top people. We’ve all been there. The calendar is blocked for three days, out-of-office autoreplies are on, and the leadership team is gathered in a hotel conference room with weak c
